Tell us a little about you — what lights you up in life right now?
I’m still figuring out who I am every day, but here’s what I know so far - I’m a clinical nutritionist, chef, and devoted foodie; a lover of summer; mum to two fur babies (Lily and Bowie); devourer of fantasy romance novels; and a born-and-raised Mornington Peninsula girl now based in Melbourne. Life has been busy the last few years, so these days, I’m most lit up by the little things: a sunny winter morning, a big bowl of pasta, my daily coffee (!!), and dancing in the kitchen with my team at work.
What’s one experience or lesson that’s shaped who you are today?
Oh gosh, every single one of them! I'm a big believer that everything happens for a reason, and I know that all the trials and tribulations I’ve faced over the years have shaped me into the driven and resilient person I am today. My goal is to keep learning and growing from every experience, for the rest of my life.
How do you define radiance — and when do you feel most radiant?
To me, a radiant person is someone living a truly authentic life—someone who leads with kindness in everything they do. I feel most radiant when I’m surrounded by the people I love, nourishing my body with good food, moving my body, soaking up sunshine, and living in alignment with who I really am.
What does self-love look like in your life — even on the messy days?
Self-love for me shifts with the season I’m in. Sometimes, it means sticking to the motto “follow the plan, not the mood” - because I truly believe that self-discipline is a form of freedom. But other times, it’s knowing when to rest and giving myself permission to do so without guilt.
What’s a small ritual or habit that makes a big difference in your wellbeing?
Meal prepping at the start of the week! While I’m not the biggest fan of eating the same thing every day, having a few meals prepared in advance gives me so much more time and headspace during the week - time I’m more likely to spend on a workout, walk, sauna, or rest. It also helps me avoid reaching for convenience foods when I’m too tired to cook (plus, my bank account thanks me - Uber Eats adds up).
How do you stay grounded or inspired when life gets overwhelming?
I change it up. It might seem counterintuitive when things feel overwhelming, but switching up my routine - like starting a new gym program or trying a fun meal plan - often reignites my energy and inspiration. On a simpler note, prioritising sleep is non-negotiable. Nothing feels quite as stressful or unmanageable after a solid 8+ hours of rest.
Who in your life inspires you — and why?
Too many people to name - but here’s a slightly random one I think about often: my dogs. Honestly, we don’t deserve them. They’re so pure and find genuine joy in the simplest things - breakfast, dinner, walks, tennis balls. They remind me daily to slow down, be present and to stop and smell the roses (or in their case, the telephone polls).
Which FRIISKIN product do you reach for the most, and how does it make you feel?
The Radiant Moisturiser! As an acne prone girl who feels dry and dehydrated in winter, it makes my skin feel so nourished without clogging my pores and causing breakouts.
If you could offer one message to other women on their self-love journey, what would it be?
Keep doing the things that light you up and make you feel like you. Self-love begins with embracing and appreciating who you are on the inside - and letting that guide how you show up in the world.
